Making the Grade: Another Kairos Prize Finalist Makes It to the Big Screen

Another Kairos Prize finalist for “spiritually uplifting” screenplays by beginners and first-time scriptwriters will be making it to the big screen this month.

Columbia Pictures of Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the faith-based movie “All Saints” on Friday, Aug. 25. 2017. The original script for “All Saints, written by Steve Armour and Steve Gomer, was one of the Top Five finalists for the three Kairos Prizes for the Most Spiritually Uplifting Screenplays by First-Time and Beginning Screenwriters in 2013.

The three winners were announced Feb. 15, 2012 at the 21st Annual Movieguide® Faith & Values Awards at the Universal Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

“‘All Saints’ is a powerful movie that’s very heartrending and entertaining,” Movieguide® Publisher Dr. Ted Baehr said. “It’s one of Sony’s best faith-based movies.”
