NBC Announces Midseason Lineup, From HAPPY’S PLACE to SUITS: LA

NBC just released its midseason release slate, from new series premieres to the return of popular shows like HAPPY’S PLACE and LAW & ORDER: SVU.
The network will kick off its midseason scheduling with new episodes of popular sitcoms HAPPY’S PLACE and LOPEZ VS. LOPEZ on Jan. 3.

New medical sitcom ST. DENIS MEDICAL will also debut with new episodes on Jan. 14, with LAW & ORDER and LAW & ORDER: SVU returning Jan. 16.

“THE HUNTING PARTY is a high-concept crime procedural about a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist,” a press release from NBC reads.
Another highly anticipated new show? SUITS LA, a spin-off of the popular show SUITS, which will debut Feb. 23.
“SUITS LA centers on Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself by representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles,” Deadline reported. “His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.”

GROSSE POINTE GARDEN SOCIETY will also premiere Feb. 23. The show “follows four members of a suburban garden club, as they get caught up in murder and mischief, as they strive to flourish,” per IMDb.
