As BLIPPI’S JOB SHOW debuts on Netflix, BLIPPI’s star actor and the show’s executive producer are opening up about how the series positively impacts its young viewers.
The 10-episode series is about “fueling kids’ curiosity,” Clayton Grimm, who plays Blippi, told Parents. The show helps “kids understand what different adults do every day and how their jobs make a difference.”
The show began filming last year on Sept. 4, according to TheCinemaholic. In the series, Blippi and his friend, Meekah, will encounter firefighters, astronauts, mail carriers, pizza makers, truck drivers and others.
“Every job is an adventure — and I love helping kids imagine all the things they can be when they grow up,” Grimm said.
Executive producer Lizzy Easterday says BLIPPI is the best kind of show for introducing kids to jobs.
“Blippi is the ultimate guide for kids when it comes to exploring the world around them — his natural curiosity, boundless energy, and playful way of explaining things make learning feel like an adventure,” she told Parents.
“He has a unique ability to break down complex ideas into fun, digestible moments. Jobs are such a big part of everyday life, and Blippi makes discovering different careers feel exciting and accessible,” she said.
Giving kids an up-close and personal view of jobs shows them that dreams are achievable. It’s showing them variety and giving them a little inkling of what they’d like to do in the future.
“We hope to spark kids’ imaginations and help them start thinking about what excites them most,” Easterday said.

The producer believes the show does more than just show them what it might be like to work in certain roles.
“We [help] kids connect with the values and traits that make each role special,” she said. “Whether it’s being brave like a firefighter, using creativity and imagination like a baker, or showing kindness and care like a veterinarian, Blippi’s Job Show helps children see how these qualities play a role in everyday life.”
The show also highlights civic duty, as most of the jobs demonstrate protection and improvement for communities.
“We want them to walk away inspired,” Easterday said, “knowing that hard work, creativity, and a passion for learning can open up a world of possibilities for them.”
The JOB SHOW is one of many BLIPPI series on Netflix. The platform also has BLIPPI’S ADVENTURES, BLIPPI’S DINO ADVENTURE, BLIPPI’S ULTIMATE BOUNCE HOUSE CHALLENGES and more.
