New THE SNOOPY SHOW Series to Join Peanuts Content on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ released the trailer announcing the premiere date for its upcoming animated series, THE SNOOPY SHOW.
“The Peanuts gang is back with a brand new show!” AppleTV announced.
The show is a new original series from Peanuts and WildBrain and features Charlie Brown’s beloved dog in every episode.
Snoopy will make his global debut on Feb. 5, 2021, accompanied by his best friend, Woodstock. Each episode will contain three, seven-minute cartoons as Snoopy adopts his various personas, including Joe Cool, the Masked Marvel, and the World War I Flying Ace. The series is based on Charles Schulz’s comic and will also feature more of the Peanuts gang, including Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Franklin, Schroeder, and Peppermint Patty.
THE SNOOPY SHOW is the new addition to Apple Originals from Peanuts and WildBrain. Daytime Emmy Award-winner PEANUTS IN SPACE: SECRETS OF APOLLO 10 and Daytime Emmy Award-nominated SNOOPY IN SPACE are also available to stream for quality Peanuts’ content.

SNOOPY IN SPACE is highly enjoyable, funny, wholesome, and educational. The first season has a strong moral worldview stressing love, loyalty, friendship, helping others in trouble, hard work, encouraging other people, and lifelong learning. Some Peanuts fans may feel that Snoopy’s character has changed from the original cartoons by Charles Schulz. The often positive Snoopy now gets discouraged and sulks when things don’t go his way. However, much like the original stories, Snoopy is silly but adorable and loyal. He and his little yellow bird friend, Woodstock, may argue, but they are fast friends. Family viewers of all ages will enjoy SNOOPY IN SPACE. The slapstick cartoon violence is very light, funny, and child-friendly.
Movieguide® has not yet reviewed THE SNOOPY SHOW, but hopes it contains similar positive elements to SNOOPY IN SPACE.
