No. 8 Ranked Oregon Ducks’ QB Bo Nix: ‘God Has Ordered My Steps’

Led by their Quarterback Bo Nix, the Oregon Ducks are now 6-1 on the season and are looking to become College Football favorites with a national ranking of No. 8.
The Ducks’ one loss came in the first week of the season against Georgia, which is now the No. 1 ranked team in the country.
The success this season comes after Nix transferred to Oregon for his senior year after spending three years at Auburn.
“I don’t know what the next chapter of my life looks like,” Nix said at the time of his transfer, “but I do know that whatever it is, God has ordered my steps and He has a plan for me like He does for everyone else.”
Nix is outspoken about his Christian faith over social media and in post-game interviews.
Even as a high schooler in 2018, Nix said that he has a purpose beyond football.
“I think that’s really important, understanding and knowing why you’re doing what you’re doing,” Nix said on the Sports Spectrum podcast. “You know that He gave you all the talent that you have, and doing anything else besides that would disrespect Him in the long run.”
“Whether it’s leading [teammates] on the field or off the field, just setting that example, being that role model that they would look up to,” Nix said. “Trying to do the right thing all the time when I’m around them and help them to know that it’s not weird or different to be different and do what’s right and be a Christ-follower.”
