Did Paramount+ Remove Your Favorite Nickelodeon Titles from Library?
By Movieguide® Contributor
Paramount+ just removed many Nickelodeon titles from its library, including BLUE’S ROOM, BIG TIME RUSH and THE PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR.
Boy Genius Report shared a list of all the shows and movies that were recently removed: AWESOMENESS TV, BREADWINNERS, DOUG, GAME SHAKERS, HOUSE OF ANUBIS, KUNG FU PANDA: LEGENDS OF AWESOMENESS, LET’S JUST PLAY: GO HEALTHY CHALLENGE, MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ROBOT, THE PENGUINS OF MADAGASCAR, WELCOME TO THE WAYNE, WONDER PETS and ZOOFARI.
Meanwhile, Deadline reported that ALVINNN!!! AND THE CHIPMUNKS, BLUE’S ROOM, BIG TIME RUSH, FACE’S MUSIC PARTY, FANBOY & CHUM CHUM, NI HAO, KAI-LIN, OOBI, SANJAY & CRAIG, THE UPSIDE DOWN SHOW and TOT COP have also been removed from the streaming service.
“Deadline has reached out to Nickelodeon and Paramount+ for comment and will update when we hear back,” the outlet wrote.
This isn’t the first round of cuts Paramount has made when it comes to their kids’ content.
“Paramount+ also removed a large number of children’s TV shows in March,” TV Line reported. “These included the CG-animated RUGRATS reboot, BIG NATE, ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?, BLUE’S CLUES & YOU!, RYAN’S MYSTERY PLAYDATE and THAT GIRL LAY-LAY.”
Paramount might have pulled the RUGRATS reboot from their platform, but that doesn’t mean they’re shelving the franchise. It was recently announced that a RUGRATS movie is in the works.

It’s unclear why Paramount is removing Nickelodeon content from the streaming service, but the company has previously spoken about its desire to make Paramount+ an “easy, fun place” for kids.
