Pastor’s New Movie Celebrates ‘Really Special’ Life-Changing Miracles
By Movieguide® Contributor
New movie I AM LIVING PROOF showcases Pastor Mario Murillo’s healing revivals through the stories of three individuals he helped.
“What made [I AM LIVING PROOF] special is how it hit people whenever they saw the early footage of it,” he told Movieguide®. “It just glorifies Jesus in a way that is really, really special.”
A description on the movie’s website calls I AM LIVING PROOF “a compelling and intimate look into the lives of three individuals who face an extraordinary life-altering event.”
“Unbeknownst to them, their paths are about to intersect when a traveling preacher, Mario Murillo brings his iconic tent revival to town,” the description continues. “This chance encounter offers a glimmer of hope in their darkest hour. I AM LIVING PROOF chronicles their transformative experiences as we together meet the real God of miracles.”
Murillo said, “You’ll see every age, every race, every background, every represented social strata [in the crowds] because that’s what Jesus does when He draws a crowd.”

He also shared a story of another person he helped. A father brought his alcoholic daughter to a revival meeting, and Murillo prayed over her.
“There are no words for the gratitude that was in his face — toward God, not me,” he said, explaining that afterwards, the girl’s life was changed.
“Her taste for alcohol left, she moved back home and she was completely converted,” he said. “Those are the kinds of things that we’re seeing.”
Murillo shared a message for anyone who sees I AM LIVING PROOF but might not be secure in their relationship with faith.
“No one can make you happy because no one understands you. The only person capable of unlocking happiness is Christ, because He created you and you are His creation,” Murillo said. “You don’t know what would make you happy. You don’t know the life that would really satisfy you. But He does.”
I AM LIVING PROOF was produced by Shane Gilbert, who told the Colorado Springs Gazette, “It’s taken a long time, but we had amazing people that I had worked with before doing sound and everything, and it came together beautifully. People worked on the film because it touched their heart.”
