Although Pat Sajak left WHEEL OF FORTUNE last year, the former host has one last spin ahead of him next month.
A press release announced that Sajak’s final spin will be as host of CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE. The episode will air on ABC on Wednesday, April 30, at 8 p.m. ET., followed by the 2025 JEOPARDY! MASTERS tournament.
CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE is a spinoff version of the show featuring celebrity contestants. Some celebrities who will be present for Sajak’s final spin include Rainn Wilson, Ellie Kemper, Oscar Nuñez, Tiffany Haddish, Josh Gad, Katharine McPhee, Andrew Rannells, Joe Manganiello, Pete Holmes and Randall Park.
The celebrities will play for a reward of $1 million to donate to a charity of their choice.
CELEBRITY WHEEL OF FORTUNE announced Sajak’s final spin on Instagram, and many fans, including his daughter, expressed their excitement.
“Been waiting for this for a long time! See you soon!” one fan wrote. “Can’t wait!!!!!!” Maggie Sajak added.

Sajak left WHEEL OF FORTUNE last summer after 41 seasons and over 8,000 episodes.
“Well, the time has come to say goodbye,” Sajak said in a farewell video. “I have a few thanks and acknowledgements before I go. And I want to start with all of you watching out there. It’s been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade. And I’ve always felt that privilege came with a responsibility to keep this daily half-hour a safe place for family fun. No social issues, no politics, nothing embarrassing I hope, just a game.”
“But gradually it became more than that: a place where kids learned their letters, where people from other countries honed their English skills, where families came together along with friends and neighbors and entire generations,” he continued.
“What an honor to have played even a small part in all that. Thank you for allowing me into your lives,” Sajak added.
Since then Ryan Seacrest picked up the hosting mantel, coming alongside WHEEL OF FORTUNE icon Vanna White, who signed a contract to keep her on at least through the 2025-2026 season.
“Hosting WHEEL OF FORTUNE is a dream job,” Seacrest said during his first episode. “I’ve been a fan of this show since I was a kid, watching in Atlanta with my family, and I know how special it is that WHEEL has been in your living rooms for the past 40 years. I’m just so grateful to be invited in. I also know I’ve got some very big shoes to fill.”
