Milano suggested that the show will not return for a third season after airing its previous season in October 2019. It is not shocking that the show will not be reinstalled for a third season as it contains controversial elements over weight, bullying, and blasphemous Christian material.
The cancellation of this show is a victory for the Christian entertainment industry as INSATIABLE includes over the top sacrilegious ideas that are presented in the most unfriendly way possible.
Movieguide® formerly reported about the content of the show after the release of the first season. Episodes of INSATIABLE often mock Christian values and embed inappropriate sexual themes. For example one of the pageants was titled “Miss Magic Jesus” and the contestants sang an outrageous song called “Sweet Jesus Inside Me.” The song included shocking lyrics and crude dance movements. Additionally reported by Movieguide®, was a scene used in INSATIABLE where “Patty” the main character played by Ryan, receives oral sex from her boyfriend on a play set of Noah’s Ark at her church. As outrageous as the content from season 1 was, season 2 of the dark comedy was just as appalling.

In season 1, Patty was seeking revenge by losing weight and joining pageants to prove a point to those who bullied her. In the process, she loses all her morals and becomes obsessed with winning.
During season 2, while still struggling with her body image, she also struggles with her obsession to kill people. Patty ends up murdering her ex-boyfriend, father, and a former pageant coach. In the final episode Patty said “that nothing tastes as good as killing feels.”
The show makes light of the murders and has no regard to human life. Additionally, her role models are irresponsible and oftentimes help her cover up her murders.
As the Scripture from Matthew 5:21 says: “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.”
The cancellation of INSATIABLE is a positive response to grotesque themes and mocking Christian values. This victory will make sure that the horrible messages from the Netflix show will no longer be shared.
