THE OFFICE Actor John Krasinki on Marriage: ‘It’s Always About Coming Back Home’

In an age where it appears that marriage is highly undervalued, it’s so refreshing to see a man take pride in his wife.
THE OFFICE Actor John Krasinski beamed about his wife, actress Emily Blunt (MARY POPPINS RETURNS,) on a recent red carpet and dropped some truth bombs about why his marriage works.
Krasinski told E! News:
“I gotta say it just sort of happens organically,” he said. “It’s one of those things where I was a huge fan of hers before I even met her, so I continue to be a huge fan of hers in everything she does. So we’re just extremely supportive, we get what the job is and that you gotta travel and do some stuff, but it’s always about coming back home and being together, it’s the most important thing.
The actors in the Movieguide® award-nominated movie, A QUIET PLACE, are one of the rare couples in Hollywood who’ve stayed married. The two have been married for nine years and are parents to two daughters, Hazel and Violet.
Krasinski and Blunt met at a restaurant through a mutual friend. The pair were engaged ten months later.
Encouragingly, Krasinski and Blunt openly compliment and affirm one another.
“In my opinion, she’s the best there is [to play Mary Poppins], Krasinski told Entertainment Weekly in 2018. “Twenty-five minutes into the screening, I walked to the back of the room… [and said] ‘I’m looking for napkins’… I just needed anything to stop crying.”
As far as we know, Krasinski and Blunt aren’t Christians, but many of their projects carry biblical themes.
In 2018, the couple starred as husband and wife in the Movieguide® award-nominated movie A QUIET PLACE.
According to the Movieguide® review:
