Pray: Michael Landon’s Daughter Seeks Answers After Son Dies In Tragic Bus Accident

Shawna Landon, Michael Landon’s daughter, is begging for answers following her son Dylan’s death in August.
The 24 year-old was fatally struck by a Los Angeles bus.
“I just want answers. It’s all I think about. How can you not know you just hit a human being?” Landon said.
An investigation has revealed that Dylan was walking against traffic in a bike lane at 7:30 p.m. when a LA Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus hit him.
“This man didn’t even stop to see what happened, nor did he call 911,” Landon explained. “My son was left to die on the side of the road.”
She, family, and friends have all stated that it would have been impossible for the driver not to have known they had hit someone.
“It just doesn’t make sense that a bus driver didn’t see a human being walking who’s 6’1″, 170 pounds, walking towards the bus in complete daylight,” she said. “There’s no blind spots.”
Landon’s attorney has reached an agreement with MTA authorities to obtain black box information from the bus, as well as video footage from the nine cameras on the bus.
Landon hopes that the information from the black box and the cameras will help shed some light on what happened to her son.
She posted a touching tribute to Dylan on Instagram, writing:
It has only been six weeks today of your passing Dylan. You’re the first person I think about when I open my eyes in the morning and the last when I close them at night . A passing of a child is a healing process . It begins the day when your child passes and ends when you join them . We miss and love you Dylan
