The PROPERTY BROTHERS Drew and Jonathan Scott have taken their talents over to children’s television and created a kids’ TV show that is “genuinely fun to watch.”
BUILDER BROTHERS DREAM FACTORY started streaming on YouTube a few months ago and is all about encouraging kids to “dream big.”
The show is inspired by Jonathan and Drew’s childhood.
“We were always coming up with out-of-the-box ideas, and Jonathan and I would drag our friends into it, too,” Drew told Parents in an exclusive interview. “We’d think up interesting ways to solve problems. Our dad used to say, ‘If someone says it can’t be done, figure out five ways to do it.’ That really motivated us and felt like a lesson we wanted to share.”
BUILDER BROTHERS DREAM FACTORY is currently nearing 20 episodes on YouTube, and each episode is about 11 minutes.
The brothers credit their parents for fostering an environment that cared about their creativity.
“Our parents always gave us the freedom to chase our ideas, no matter how wacky or over-the-top they were. And now that we’re dads, we realize even more how vital it is to encourage a sense of creativity at a young age,” Drew explained.
When the show first premiered internationally in 2023, the Scott brothers were thrilled to share their project with kids around the world.
“This series is one of our most personal projects to date,” Drew said in a press release. “Now that we have our own kids, we are more attuned to sharing the values our own parents instilled in us, but in a fresh and familiar way that resonates with families everywhere.”

“We were raised to believe that we can dream up any big idea, and there’s always a creative way to come together and solve any problem,” Jonathan added. “We hope this series will inspire optimism and teamwork in every home and school across the country.”
Head of Nelvana Enterprises, Mellany Welsh, emphasized, “BUILDER BROTHERS DREAM FACTORY is a welcome addition to our kids portfolio, and Treehouse and STACKTV provide the perfect platform to deliver this entertaining series to our Canadian audiences. Drew and Jonathan are world-renowned for making dreams come true and thinking outside the box, which are values we share at Nelvana. We are excited to collaborate with Sinking Ship Entertainment and Scott Brothers Entertainment and look forward to inspiring kids to dream big by embarking on an adventure with the Builder Brothers that is full of transformation, creativity, and resilience.”
Although Drew and Jonathan are adults, they “are still kids at heart,” the two told Parents.
While watching BUILDER BROTHERS DREAM FACTORY, kids will learn that “Each character has their own special skill and personality, too, which reminds kids that they all have something to bring to the table,” Jonathan said. “It also shows how differences can make a team even stronger.”
BUILDER BROTHERS DREAM FACTORY is available on YouTube in the United States and internationally. The Scotts believe it will give kids an outlet to explore their creativity and delve deep into their imagination.
