PROPERTY BROTHERS’ Drew Scott Shares Sweet Moment With Son
By Movieguide® Contributor
PROPERTY BROTHERS star Drew Scott just shared who his son Parker’s favorite Disney character is in a sweet Instagram post.
The post features Scott’s wife, Linda Phan, holding their one-year-old son Parker proudly up in the air as Rafiki holds Simba, celebrating the birth of the future king, while little Parker is watching the famous scene from THE LION KING.
“Circle of Life ??,” Scott captioned on the pic that received over 20,000 likes, with many fans posting their approval of the mother-son performance.
“Parker is gonna think he is a Lion Cub now. ?” one Instagram user posted.
Another person wrote, “I love the way you share him with us but protecting him at the same time,” alluding to Scott’s posts only showing the back of Parker and never his face.
He often shares funny videos of their son. A recent Instagram video montage captured the toddler at play while Paul Russell’s song “Lil Boo Thang” plays in the background.
“Our little boo thang is not so little anymore!” the 45-year-old captioned in the video.
Scott previously opened up about fatherhood and how he and Phan are juggling work and family life, as Movieguide® reported:
It’s amazing just seeing his face when he looks at you, like, once he started focusing in and he locks eyes with you — oh, your heart melts,” he continued. “It’s amazing.”
He also called Parker “a little sweetheart” and said that he has the “best qualities of Linda and me.”
Scott is prioritizing his son, as well, juggling family life and work.
“For right now, Linda and I are taking it all. I have a busy filming schedule and Linda is taking care of Parker during filming — but when I’m not here 24/7, it’s full-time with Parker,” he explained. “We just don’t wanna miss those minutes, you know, the moments when he’s little. I don’t wanna miss any of that.”
In addition to family life and working on his show PROPERTY BROTHERS: FOREVER HOME with twin brother Jonathan, he recently became part owner of his hometown’s hockey team, the Vancouver Giants, joining singer Michael Bublé.
“‘Being an OG giant from Vancouver, I’m excited to come home! Big things to come,’” the Giants quoted Scott on their Instagram page.
“Please join us in welcoming @mrdrewscott on board as a new part-owner!” the post read.
