Rachael Ray Helps Families In Need In New Show RACHAEL RAY’S REBUILD

Celebrity chef Rachael Ray is helping people who have lost their homes in her new show, RACHAEL RAY’S REBUILD.

“I can say from personal experience that when disaster strikes your home, your life doesn’t change in an instant—it changes forever,” Ray said in a trailer for the upcoming Hulu show.

Three years ago, Ray lost her own home in a fire at Lake Luzerne in New York.

“Thank you to our local first responders for being kind and gracious and saving what they could of our home,” she tweeted at the time. “Grateful that my mom, my husband, my dog…we’re all okay. These are the days we all have to be grateful for what we have, not what we’ve lost.”

In RACHAEL RAY’S REBUILD, the celebrity chef pairs up with Anthony Carrino, the contractor from HGTV’s KITCHEN COUSINS, to rebuild houses for families who have lost theirs.

“I am going to help people who have lost their homes to a disaster. Because it’s not just your home, it’s your life that you’ve lost,” Ray explained.

Carrino added, “Knowing what they’ve been through, I can’t imagine how excited they are to get in [their new homes].”

The rebuilding project is something Ray is familiar with, too—a year after her house burned down, the chef showed off her newly rebuilt home on an episode of the RACHAEL RAY SHOW.

“This is our house. It is really exciting to have a house rebuilt in a little over a year,” she shared. “We ultimately became very grateful to have everyone share our lives with us through this tough time, because we were all going through the same tough time together.”

All 10 episodes of RACHAEL RAY REBUILDS will be available to stream on Hulu starting October 23.
