The Baltimore Ravens dominated the Houston Texans during their Christmas Day match-up, and head coach John Harbaugh gave glory to God.

“Enter his courts with thanksgiving, go to His courts with praise, for the Lord is good,” head coach John Harbaugh said to his team before turning it over to the team’s chaplain, Johnny Shelton.

“The Lord is good, and His mercy lasts forever. Lord, we thank you for being able to play this game of football. We thank you for the victory, Lord,” Shelton prayed. “But we know we’ve already had the victory because the victory is in you. Lord, we ask that you continue to watch over us as a family, Lord. We pray for your traveling mercies home. But Lord, we celebrate and we say Happy Birthday to Jesus, Lord. Right here and right now.”

At the end of Shelton’s prayer, he recited the Lord’s prayer, which the entire team joined him.

The team prayed:

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,  your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.

The dynamic duo running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Lamar Jackson led the Ravens to a 31-2 victory.

“Henry ran for 147 yards on 27 carries and scored one touchdown. He had 86 rushing yards in the first quarter alone, setting the tone for the game. Henry was so good that even taking a safety in the first half didn’t drag his grade down,” the Baltimore Ravens media team reported.

“Jackson threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 87 yards and another score. He did it despite being pulled out of the game early in the fourth quarter and missing 11 snaps. Jackson has posted back-to-back 90+ PFF grades,” the outlet added.
