Reba McEntire ‘Honored’ To Perform National Anthem At 2024 Super Bowl

It’s official — country superstar Reba McEntire will be singing the National Anthem before this year’s Super Bowl!
“I got the news from my manager,” she said during an appearance on CBS Mornings. “He said they wanted me to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl and I said, ‘Oh, my gosh! Well, let me think about that.’ And then my boyfriend, who is a huge football fan, said, ‘Yes, she’ll do it! Absolutely!’”
The country star also tweeted about her upcoming performance, writing, “I’m honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time!”

In addition to McEntire’s performance of the National Anthem, “multiplatinum hip-hop-rock artist [Post] Malone will perform ‘America the Beautiful,’ and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter-actor Andra Day will sing ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing,’” NBC reported.
Day posted on Instagram about the honor on Instagram, writing, “Peace & Blessings!!! Performing the Anthem at the SuperBowl yall! Grateful! Thank You God.”
One of the biggest parts of McEntire’s 2023 was her stint as a coach on THE VOICE, and many fans want to know if she’ll be returning.
The answer is yes. McEntire will coach another round of singers for the 25th season of THE VOICE, along with returning coach John Legend, Chance the Rapper, who was part of Season 23, and country duo Dan+Shay, THE VOICE’s first coaching duo.
