Actor Ricky Schroder Wants to ‘Uplift America’ Through New Foundation

To celebrate those who fight for America every day, THE CHAMP actor Ricky Schroder created the Reel American Heroes Foundation to promote the patriots whom Hollywood overlooks.

Over the past decade, Hollywood has moved away from celebrating military stories highlighting the brave sacrifices of those fighting for our country’s freedom. The media even actively demonizes the military and encourages the younger generation to view America’s military not as freedom fighters but as global tyrants.

Schroder hopes to change this narrative and refocus the industry on bringing honor and glory to those who sacrifice everything for our country’s freedom.

“It’s an aggregator for good kinds of stories with values and principles that uplift America instead of tear it down,” he said of his platform.

“We’re hoping to get your stories. We are hoping other people will contribute and send us stories. And we can aggregate these stories and restart reprogramming America away from the DEI programming – diversity, equity and inclusion – to the real principle and values that built this great nation,” Schroder added.

The actor hopes that his foundation can provide people an avenue into the entertainment business without having to give up their values to fit the immoral ones that pervade the industry. Though he stayed true to his Christian roots, growing up as a child actor, Schroder certainly understands the pressure in Hollywood to follow the status quo.

“Don’t lose sight of the Lord,” he said. “Because in Hollywood, it’s easy to lose sight of the Lord there. You get tempted by so many things, and temptation can just kind of get you off track. And so, I would say if I could speak to my younger self, ‘Read you’re Bible more.’”

In promoting the true values that America was founded upon, Schroder plans to attack the adult movie industry which is currently plaguing and corrupting the country.

“Our children and teens have access to adult content, such as pornography sites, at the youngest ages we’ve ever seen. The average age a child first sees internet pornography is 12, and 70% of young men ages 18-24 visit pornographic websites on at least a monthly basis.,” US Weekly reported.

“We’re making a documentary that looks at the disastrous effects of 45 years of internet pornography that’s been pushed into our culture and society,” Schroder said. “When internet pornography first came into the world, it was in the .xxx URL, and for various reasons, they shut down the .xxx URL and they moved it all onto the .com world. And so one of our goals… is to move all adult content back onto the .xxx URL, where it’s easier to control it.”

The Reel American Heroes Foundation created the Council on Pornography Reform (CPR) organization to specifically combat this area of entertainment.

“[CPR exists to] promote a safer and more responsible digital landscape by advocating for comprehensive reforms in the realm of explicit adult content,” the organization’s website reads. “CPR is dedicated to safeguarding individuals, particularly minors, from the potential harms associated with unrestricted access to explicit material.”

Golden Globe Award winner Ricky Schroder recently launched the Reel American Heroes Foundation (RAHF), which provides Americans with content that aligns with their conservative values.

His aims to create a “Patriot PBS” to counter modern narratives.

“Here’s the plan. We’re going to build a sort of ‘Patriot PBS,’ an army of storytellers to counteract much of the negative program coming from Hollywood these days. Our money, our stories, our legacies,” THE CHAMP star said.

PR Newswire pointed out that Schroder, a lifelong actor who grew up under the influence of Hollywood, knows its negative effects very well.
