In a recent press release, Robert Craig Films announced its partnership with The Salvation Army to combat the homelessness crisis.

“Robert Craig Films (RCF) proudly announces that The Salvation Army, the world-renowned Christian-based international movement, joins RCF’s 5-pronged media approach called ‘The Big Five’ to drive solutions for America’s leading crisis, homelessness. RCF visited rescue missions and encampments, touring 20 major cities in 18 states to ultimately translate to the audience the dire homeless situation for so many,” the statement began.

The Big 5 represents not only a series of creative endeavors but also a call to action, encouraging our audience to engage and collaborate with local non-profits dedicated to alleviating homelessness,” the website explains.

Robert Craig Films recently released a documentary and movie called NO ADDRESS as well as an “Interactive Study Guide” to provide “education and structure for how to best approach, engage, and serve individuals who are unhoused.”

The movie follows “A group of people experiencing homelessness [as they] bond together as a family, struggling to survive the streets while fending off a harassing gang, an unforgiving community and the local authorities, the group fights to get their lives back.”

Jolene Hodder of The Salvation Army said, “Working alongside the NO ADDRESS team and being part of the documentary, film, and study guide has been an honor. We share their goal to shed light on this crisis and encourage meaningful change, making a real difference for people in need.’”

Jennifer Stolo, CEO of Robert Craig Films, also commented on the project.

“Robert Craig Films could not have done this alone. In developing these five forms of media, we are not just opening people’s eyes and humanizing homelessness but are creating solutions to drive change. The Salvation Army’s involvement was crucial to get here.”

Movieguide® previously reported on the company’s initiative against homelessness:

Robert Craig Films is launching a new initiative to help combat homelessness in the United States.

“In a continuation of the mission to bring awareness and solutions to homelessness in America, Robert Craig Films is announcing the release of an Interactive Study Guide, which will be widely available on March 5, 2024 titled, ‘No Address,’” a press release reported.

“This is an important part of ‘The Big 5’ solutions for homelessness born from the Robert Craig Films – produced, award-winning AMERICANS WITH NO ADDRESS documentary and NO ADDRESS movie.”

The group’s mission is to “develop, create, and produce films that inspire the audience to engage with greater empathy, compassion, and generosity in the communities they live in.”
