Sadie Robertson Huff Encourages Generosity: ‘Start A Random Act Of Kindness’

Sadie Robertson Huff recently sat down with Jimmy Darts for a conversation on her Whoa That’s Good podcast, where the two talked about the power of generosity.
“You have access to everything you need right now to live in a posture of putting others first,” Huff captioned a video clip of the conversation. “You don’t need crazy funds or an organization, you legit can start with the simple act of letting other people get before you in line. Don’t wait for someone else to start a random act of kindness, go out and start it yourself.”
The video showed Huff and Darts talking about how simply buying someone a drink at Starbucks could make that person’s day.
Darts pointed out that today’s culture can be “selfish” and “self-centered,” and acts of generosity can mean a lot to people.
“To do something like that is so powerful,” he added.
For those who have limited financial resources, Darts encourages simple acts of kindness like opening a door or letting someone jump ahead of you while in line at the grocery store.
“Just that will probably shake them, and they’ll be so confused in an amazing way,” he explained. “You do not need funds at all to be able to bless people.”

Sadie Robertson Huff recently shared a message about what it means to live for God.
The former DUCK DYNASTY star encouraged her audience to not rely on outward appearance for a stable relationship with God.
“I think many of us do that with Jesus,” she said. “When we talk to Jesus we come to him with all of our spiritual language, acting as if he doesn’t know anything about all the other conversations we have. Acting as if he doesn’t see every other moment of our life.”
“We dress in our Sunday best, we come to God in this perfect practiced prayer, we worship, we do all these things, but it looks nothing like the rest of our life,” she continued. “Many of us are wondering, ‘I am trying to start a relationship with God, why is it not working?’ You aren’t having fruit because you’re not really in relationship with God. Cause you’re letting him out on all the other sides of your life.
“Let me tell you, God doesn’t love you any less. He loves you so much, but he needs to be invited into that area of your life so that he can intervene in that area of your life,” she concluded.
