Sadie Robertson Huff Reminds Young People of This God-Given Mission

Sadie Robertson Huff wants young people to know that God has a special mission for them.

“I want to remind you of the words that Paul said to Timothy, to Gen Z and to the younger people out there,” Huff said in a video posted to Instagram. “He said, ‘Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young.’ But he doesn’t stop there. It’s not just, ‘Oh yeah, don’t let anyone look down on you because you’re young. Don’t let people make fun of you. Stand strong.'”

She continued, “He says, ‘But set an example in faith, in speech, in purity and love.’ And then he says, ‘and keep teaching the word, proclaiming the word, go out and teach the scripture of the word.'”

“This is what we see Josiah do,” Huff added, referencing the Old Testament figure who became king at 8 years old. “He’s a young king, but he says, ‘I’m not going to let people look down on me because I’m young. I’m not going to hear the Word when I’m young and wait ’til I’m, you know, 50 to preach the Word. I’m going to preach the Word now because I hear the Word, I’m going to follow the Word, heart and soul, and I’m going to set an example of what it looks like in faith and speech and purity, and I’m just going to go out, and I’m going to teach the Word.'”

In the caption of the video, Huff asked how her followers think they could set an example “right now.”

“Invite God into those moments asking for His strength, wisdom, and to be given confidence that comes from Him,” one said.

“Spreading the word every day,” another added.

“Faith and boldness matter more than age! Like Josiah, we’re called to live out God’s word fearlessly, setting an example in faith, love, and purity,” one follower wrote.

“I am Gen Z and I love Jesus with my whole heart. I spread the love to my friends regardless of their faith I pray for them I pray in honor of them,” someone else said.

Huff is staying busy, as she’s expecting baby No. 3 and gearing up for the DUCK DYNASTY reboot.

“Our hearts are so full…another little love joining the Huff family 🤍,” Huff posted in February along with photos of her, her husband Christian and their daughters Honey, 3, and Haven, 20 months, with ultrasound photos.

Meanwhile, DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL is coming this summer.

“Our hope is for you to watch again together as a family and pray our show brings families back around the dinner table giving thanks to God and loving one another,” Huff said. “Our prayer as a family is and always has been that we are bright lights for His Glory. We’re SO glad to be back! Stay Tuned!”
