Sadie Robertson Huff Shares The Best Advice She Heard This Year

By Movieguide® Contributor

Sadie Robertson Huff is sharing some of her favorite advice from her podcast guests as we close out 2023.

One guest who impressed Huff was Nick Vujicic.

“He just preached the Gospel.” she said of his appearance on the “WHOA That’s Good” podcast. “He gave — it was a quote that he said that was so good, and he said, ‘If I don’t get a miracle, I can still be one.’”

Huff explained, “Sometimes we overlook the miracles that we have right in front of us, like, the fact that we’re alive, or that our brains work the way they do…it’s crazy we overlook these things.”

Another podcast guest who gave memorable advice was John Mark Homer, but Huff quickly explained that his episode has not yet come out.

“He said, ‘The story of the Bible is simple enough for a child to understand it but complex enough for someone to study their entire life,’” she shared, adding that spreading messages that can reach everyone on their level is something she tries to focus on.

Huff also pointed to Katie Davis Majors’ episode as one with helpful advice — “God is so much more concerned with who you are going to be than what you are going to do. Just focus on who you’re going to be, and then He will share with you what you’re going to do.”

2023 was a big year for Huff. In addition to continuing to grow her podcast, she released a new book, “How To Put Love First.”

“This is for everyone, because everyone is called to put love first!” she said of the devotional she co-authored with her husband Christian. “It was so fun (and challenging) to write this book together! We are straight up about all the things in this book and truly challenging us to look more like love himself – Jesus!”

Huff also gave birth to her second child, daughter Haven Belle.

“Haven has brought a touch of heaven,” she posted on Instagram. “Christian and I could not be happier and more grateful. Soaking in every single moment.”

Movieguide® previously reported on Huff’s thoughts on motherhood:

Author, speaker and former DUCK DYNASTY star Sadie Robertson Huff said that the birth of her daughter, Honey, gave her confidence in her body.

“I don’t know if ‘pretty’ is the word, but I’ve never felt more confident in my life with my body then the day that I had Honey,” Robertson wrote on a recent Instagram story.

Robertson Huff said that she wants to teach her daughter to be confident in the body that God gave her and not have to deal with the body image pressures that Robertson Huff faced growing up in the spotlight.

“I want Honey to be confident in who she is and the way her body was created and so I need to model that for her,” Robertson Huff said.
