Sharon Osbourne is back on THE TALK after leaving the United States version of the television show due to cancel culture.
However, Osbourne said that she is happy to be home in the UK, surrounded by family and a newborn granddaughter.
“Hello my darlings,” she said in a recent Instagram video. “I am so happy to be back here in Britain. Now, I want you to tune in and watch me tonight on The Talk where I’m going to be spilling all the tea.”
The TV host shared the news that her son, Jack, and his fiancé Aree recently welcomed their first child, Maple.
“Maple Artemis Osbourne, Born 7-09-2022. 7.13lbs. Ozzy and I are over the [moon emoji]. @seecreature & Maple are happy and healthy! @jackosbourne fasten your seatbelt,” Sharon wrote.
Movieguide® previously reported on Sharon’s decision to leave the US version of THE TALK:
“Right now, it’s not a safe place to be. Because the slightest thing, the slightest word and you’ve [ticked] off half the nation,” Osbourne told the DailyMailTV. “I don’t want to put myself up for that grief, I really don’t.”
The controversy arose after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey regarding the royal family. Co-host Sheryl Underwood expressed her disagreement with Osbourne over her support of Piers Morgan.
“The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home,” CBS noted in an official statement. “As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace. We also did not find any evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or blindsided any of the hosts.”
Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly, later came to her mother’s defense.
