‘Such a Miracle’: Justin and Hailey Bieber Welcome First Child

Justin and Hailey Bieber are officially parents!
The couple announced the birth of their first child in an Instagram post this weekend.
“WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER,” the singer wrote under a photo of his son’s feet.
A source close to the couple told PEOPLE Hailey and baby Jack are “doing well,” adding, “They’re both overjoyed. The baby is such a miracle. He’s adorable.”
“The pregnancy was something that they very much wished and prayed for,” the source continued. “The day they found out that Hailey was pregnant was the best ever for Justin. He was over the moon with excitement. It was a big celebration for them.”
The couple announced they were expecting in May, surprising many of their fans.
“I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time,” Hailey told W Magazine in July. “I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff.”
However, she decided to go public with the news so she could “enjoy my pregnancy outwardly.”
A source told PEOPLE that everyone in the couple’s lives is “excited for them.”
“They will be great parents, and Justin will be super involved. This will be the next important project for him. He’s so excited to raise his baby,” the source continued.

The mother of the pop superstar took to Instagram to post a sweet message for her son on Father’s Day. Along with several photos of Bieber and his pregnant wife Hailey, Mallete wrote, “Happy Father’s Day Justin. You’ve always wanted to be a dad ever since I can remember. You have so much love to give. You’re gonna be the best daddy ever. You already are. LOVE YOU!! ?”
In May, the Biebers first shared the news on Hailey’s Instagram in a photo carousel of the couple’s vow renewal. The photos reveal Hailey’s baby bump in a beautiful lace gown.
