Supermodel Karlie Kloss Calls Motherhood ‘The Greatest Joy That I Never Knew’

Supermodel and former PROJECT RUNWAY host Karlie Kloss recently appeared on the Today Show to talk about the joys of motherhood. The model gave birth to her first child with husband Joshua Kushner in March of last year.
Kloss called being a mother “the greatest joy that I never knew.”
“The moment he was placed on my arms — I literally cry at commercials now, so I might cry right now — I just had this moment of, ‘Now, every woman who has a child, every parent, goes through this.’ And it’s just the most profound experience that I had no idea [about] until having a kid,” she shared.
Kloss also talked about how her priorities have changed since becoming a mother.
“Everything changes,” the model explained. “I think the last few years have changed us as well but becoming a mom? I have become, first of all, so much more efficient with my time. I’m actually on time everywhere now.
“And I’m always a multitasker,” she added. “I’m doing a thousand things. But I think priorities just changed.”
Kloss does not usually post photos of her son, but she made an exception for a special birthday post celebrating her baby’s first birthday:
