Pop star SZA recently shared what she plans to do after her recording contract is up.

“To fulfill my last 2 album requirements I think I just wanna make peaceful children’s music n get outta here,” she posted on X. “Then go be a farmer n donate the produce to underserved communities.”

SZA has long been a fan of children’s programming. In 2017, she tweeted, “HOW DOES ONE GET ON SESAME STREET!?”

Last year, she got her wish, appearing on an episode of the popular children’s TV show.

“GODS TIMING !!!” the singer wrote on X. “FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS AND SAY THEM OUT LOUD !!NEVER GIVE UP !! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE I BELIEVE IN YOU !!”

SZA also posted photos on Instagram of her SESAME STREET visit, writing, “DREAMS COME TRUE !! ! This was the purest happiest day from top to bottom . Thank you for having me and for patching up my inner child @sesamestreet !! I LOVE YOU !!”

She has also previously spoken about the struggles she has dealt with working in the music industry.

“Every day I grapple with, ‘Am I done with music?’” she told British Vogue. “Maybe I’m just not meant to be famous; I’m crashing and burning and behaving erratically. It’s not for me because I have so much anxiety. But why would God put me in this position if I wasn’t supposed to be doing this? So I just keep trying to rise to the occasion.”

The Grammy-winning artist isn’t the only person in the public eye who has thought about leaving the entertainment industry behind for a simpler life.

VAMPIRE DIARIES actor Ian Somerhalder quit acting to work on the farm he shares with wife Nikki Reed.
