THE CHOSEN Actor Noah James Shares His Favorite Moments from Set

By Movieguide® Contributor

Noah James plays Andrew on the hit TV series THE CHOSEN, and although his serious character has little room for jokes, James is full of smiles and laughs.

THE CHOSEN shared a video of James on the set of the show. The account wrote, “Noah’s enthusiasm is contagious. #TheChosen

In the video, the actor guards his face with “Noah’s shield of protection” so that “anything that is being sprayed around me won’t get on my face and get all sticky.”

The video then asks James a series of favorites about his character Andrew.

James’ favorite Andrew line is, “Any sort of sound that is un-worded.”

He also shared that one of his favorite aspects of Andrew’s character development is his “wrestling with the anxiety and the attempt of growing up.”

James was also asked about his reaction to the script for season four.

He pretended to put the script in fire, saying, “That was me setting it on fire because it was so scary to me.”

James revealed his character will experience many emotions and lessons in season 4.

“Growth plus turmoil plus some joy plus playfulness plus devastation,” he shared.

THE CHOSEN cast and crew seem to have a great time on set as James recently shared a photo of him on Instagram holding fellow actor Jordan Ross in his arms.

James wrote, “😌 ❤️ Little James #thechosentvseries #potatosackcrew #setlife.”

Ross responded, “I feel so safe in your arms.”

Movieguide® reported that THE CHOSEN wrapped season 4 filming on August 1.

THE CHOSEN resumed production for season 4 after receiving an exemption from the SAG, and wrapped filming on August 1.

Like every other scripted production, THE CHOSEN was forced to stop filming when the actors’ strike began on July 14. However, because the production is fully independent, it quickly received an exemption and became the first TV show able to continue production…

On August 1, star Jonathan Roumie shared a video thanking fans for their prayers as the season wrapped.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you,” Roumie wrote. “Your prayers sustained me, refreshed me, and kept me and our entire team going. God is so great and He keeps His promises.”

While there is currently no set release date for season 4, some have hinted that it might come out in early 2024. Because filming had only a minor delay, the release window for season 4 has not been affected by the actors’ strike.
