By Movieguide® Contributor

PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ, a sequel to the 2020 holiday hit THE CHRISTMAS WALTZ, is set to release during this year’s Great American Christmas.

The movie, which was shot in Paris, follows Emma (Jen Lilley) after she gives up her job so a colleague with a family will keep his. As she is figuring out what’s next, she meets Leo (Matthew Morrison), a professional dancer, whose love for competitive dancing is waning. The two team up in a once-in-lifetime opportunity as the novice joins the pro to take the Paris dance field by storm.

Creators Michael and Janeen Damian have collaborated on 17 original movies, including the original CHRISTMAS WALTZ which was released on the Hallmark Channel. PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ is executive produced by Brad Krevoy, Amy Krell, Jimmy Townsend, and Lorenzo Nardini. Michael Janeed will also direct the movie.

Michael and Janeen Damian also created last year’s Great American Christmas hit, A HOT COCOA CHRISTMAS.

Great American Christmas kicks off on October 21st, with new holiday movies premiering every Saturday and Sunday alongside 24/7 Christmas movies until the end of the year.

Movieguide® previously reported on Great American Christmas:

Great American Family recently announced this year’s Christmas lineup will include 21 new original titles, up from 18 in 2022.

The network will begin its “Great American Christmas” early, kicking off the buildup to the holidays in October.

Among the new movies to be released this year is a new CHRISTMAS BY CHANCE, starring Trevor Donovan (DANCING WITH THE STARS) and Merritt Patterson (THE ROYALS, CATERING CHRISTMAS).

“In CHRISTMAS BY CHANCE, Addie (Paterson), a New York City chiropractor mistankly receives a text from “Nana.” The accidental text turns into a loving friendship between the matronly Nana and Addie who now communicate regularly. Nana invites Addie to spend the holiday in Vermont. It is picture-postcard perfect and exactly as Nana describes except for one surprise. Nana’s single son, James (Donovan), a traveling doctor is also home for the holidays. Over three consecutive years, James and Addie are together during the holidays, though it isn’t until they are both single that they begin to see each other in a different light,” according to Deadline.

The Christmas celebration on Great American Family will include 24/7 holiday movies, with their original movies premiering on Saturdays and Sundays through the end of the year.
