‘The Harbinger’ Author Jonathan Cahn: ‘God Is Real … But America Is in Trouble’

THE HARBINGER OF THINGS TO COME, based on bestselling book, “The Harbinger,” will be released in theaters nationwide on May 12 and 19.
The author of the book, Messianic Jewish Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, talked to The Christian Post about the importance of the movie and its message.
“We’re at a much more dangerous time. And so, the object is to get the word out to as many people as possible to people who have not read the books or might not read the books,” Cahn explained.
He also said the movie is a “trumpet call” for followers of Jesus and non-believers at a critical time for us all.
Cahn’s book compares the United States to Israel before its downfall. There are nine specific signs of a national demise, and Cahn claims those signs have manifested in the U.S. today.
THE HARBINGER OF THINGS TO COME will show those omens through archival footage, and foreshadow things to come.
“God is real, and He’s still in control, but America is in trouble,” Cahn warned. “It ends with a trumpet call. We need to be awake. We cannot be complacent. We need to be ready. We need to be light as it is getting darker, and we have to become brighter.”
“This is not a thing to fear,” he continued. “This is a thing to rise to our calling. To me, this is the most exciting time for a believer [in Jesus] who says yes, full out. The time of being gray is over. It’s time to be a light in the dark.”
