The Jonas Brothers Return to Disney for This Festive Reason
By Movieguide® Contributor
The holiday season may have just ended, but fans can already start getting excited for new Christmas movies coming later this year.
The Jonas Brothers are returning to Disney in a JONAS BROTHERS CHRISTMAS MOVIE (working title), slated to release on Disney+ during the 2025 holiday season.
“In the movie, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families,” a logline from Disney reads.
The brothers’ announcement dropped earlier this week. In it, fans see a door open to show the Jonases standing on the doorstep holding a large sign (an homage to the famous LOVE ACTUALLY cue card scene) as “Silent Night” plays in the background.
“We’re the Jonas Br…” Joe says before Nick quickly interjects, “No, don’t say it! The whole point is you don’t say it, you just let them read it.”
They start over, and the signs read, “Hi, we are the Jonas Brothers. I’m Nick, I’m Joe, I’m Kevin. Sorry to bother you, but we’re making a Christmas movie coming out this holiday season, only on Disney+.”

Fans on Instagram commented with excitement.
“This is adorable! So excited for you guys!” one user said. Another person added, “It’s January I shouldn’t be excited for Christmas yet but here we are.”
The movie will be directed by Jessica Yu, and executive movie producer Justin Tranter will write original songs.
The Jonas Brothers will both star in and produce the movie alongside producers Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman and Scott Morgan. Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger serve as writers and producers, per Deadline.
