‘This Is My Sermon’: CNN’s Van Jones Explains the Faith Behind THE REDEMPTION PROJECT

CNN journalist Van Jones says, “The presence of faith throughout this series is just undeniable,” of his latest endeavor, THE REDEMPTION PROJECT.
According to CNN, THE REDEMPTION PROJECT WITH VAN JONES is an American television series hosted by Jones that goes to the forefront of the criminal justice system and the restorative process.
Faith drives this restoration process, Jones says.
“We are imagining a parent who lost a child to a drunk driver or to a gang member, and somehow being able to find the strength to go and sit down and across from that person,” Jones tells Movieguide®.
“That’s the big act of faith. You’ll probably hear the word ‘God’ used more in this series than in the entirety of cable news for the rest of that week. Because that’s really what people are relying on in those very, very extreme situations.”
