TODAY show’s Dylan Dryer and husband Brian Fichera welcomed a second son, Oliver, after suffering miscarriages.
TODAY shared their excitement for Dryer and her family:
The meteorologist and 3rd hour of TODAY co-host and her husband, Brian Fichera, welcomed Oliver George Fichera to the world on Thursday morning. Little Ollie arrived at 9:13 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 19 inches.
Dylan called into the 3rd hour of TODAY with an update on her new family of four on Friday.
“I feel good,” Dylan told her co-hosts. “I just feel so happy and so blessed.”
Dylan said the name they chose didn’t have any major significance; it was just a name she and Brian liked. And as for big brother Calvin, he was taking to his new role like a pro.
“Everything just clicked,” she explained. “There was no adjustment period. This is just us. This is our family.”
Fichera shared a sweet photo of the new addition to their family.

Friends meet my son Oliver George born 7 lbs 2 oz 19 inches. I am overwhelmed.
TODAY responded to Fichera’s Instagram post, “Nice to meet you, Oliver! ?”
Movieguide® previously reported how Dryer’s faith in God kept her steady during IVF treatment.
“A part of me feels a little mad at my body for not being able to do this naturally, but that’s why we have amazing doctors and that’s why I’ve got a great support system,” the 37-year-old said. “God has a plan and I pray every night ‘Just let me stay out of your way and you do what is best for us.’”
Congrats to the new parents of two!
