Tyler Perry, Kanye West and Mariah Carey will join Houston-based preacher Joel Osteen for an Easter Sunday event titled “Hope is Alive.”

Due to government regulated meetings, “Hope is Alive” will take place virtually. However, Osteen’s honored guests are using their creativity to present the resurrection message.

“I’m not so sure exactly what [Kanye West is] going to do but he sent me a couple of pictures where it looks like they’re going to keep the social distancing,” Osteen said. “Kanye is one of a kind. He’ll figure out some way to do it.”

West and his Sunday Service choir performed at Osteen’s church in 2019 while promoting his album “Jesus is King.”

As for pop diva Mariah Carey, Osteen said she got in touch with his contacts with the intention to honor public servants.

Osteen said, “[Mariah’s people] actually contacted us because she wanted to show some support and honor to the first responders.”

According to the TMZ Live video, Carey will sing an uplifting song as a video montage plays of first responders who’ve helped during COVID-19.

Finally, Tyler Perry will lend his speaking talents to the Easter service.

“[Tyler’s] a very powerful speaker so he sent us a five-minute clip where he’s just encouraging everybody through this difficult time,” said Osteen. “He’s just a very powerful speaker and a very loving man and a very generous man.”
