What We Know About HOME TOWN TAKEOVER Season 3

Ben and Erin Napier’s HOME TOWN TAKEOVER has come to Sebring, Florida, for Season 3, and a lot has happened since filming began.
[Ben and Erin], with the help of a slew of all-star experts, will tackle several renovation projects across homes, local businesses and public spaces in the historic lakeside town,” a description for this season reads. “The goal of the projects will be to amplify the town’s charm, build community pride and make Sebring a must-visit destination.”
Production began at the end of February, and the fruits of their labor have begun to show around town as renovations on old businesses and buildings are coming to a close, leaving the town covered in a new coat of paint. Many of these buildings are receiving more major updates, such as new windows, roofs and interior layouts.
Lucky members of the community will also have their homes renovated as Ben and Erin work to fully revitalize the community.
Though Sebring is located in Florida, it receives very little of the tourist business that boosts the rest of the state. The town is seventy miles south of Orlando and seventy miles southeast of Tampa, leaving it far from the major cities. Ben and Erin hope the revitalization and publicity from the show will turn Sebring into a tourist destination.
Erin has been sharing updates as progress has been made, which have unfortunately been met with some negativity. A few commenters have left responses calling the houses ugly. She addressed these people head-on, holding them to a higher standard and revealing that these comments don’t hurt her or Ben, but they do affect the families living in these homes.
Though an official date hasn’t been set yet, the season is slated to hit TV at the beginning of next year.

HGTV’s Erin and Ben Napier are heading to Florida for Season 3 of HOME TOWN TAKEOVER.
“It’s a new location and you’ve probably never heard of it because it’s not tourist Florida, which is our favorite Florida,” Ben said of their shooting location, a town called Sebring.
Erin added, “It’s off the beaten path. It’s not the beach. It’s not the amusement parks.”
Ben called Sebring “a really interesting town” and said the couple is “cautiously optimistic” about what they can achieve in the next season of HOME TOWN TAKEOVER.
“This show is really hard to make and we have…a lot of special guests coming and a lot of people coming in to help, but there’s going to be a lot of work that’s going to go into it,” he continued.
The couple also teased some guest stars, with Erin saying, “The real HOME TOWN fans are going to be very excited to see someone who is a part of TAKEOVER Season 3.”
