Where You Can Stream SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 from Home

SONIC 3 is now available to stream at home, though, for now, viewers will still have to pay to rent or buy the movie if they want to watch it.
Roughly one month after SONIC 3 hit theaters, it became available for home viewing through Prime Video, Apple TV+ and Fandango At Home through which users can rent the movie for $19.99 or buy it for $24.99. Based on previous release schedules, SONIC 3 will likely become available to stream on Paramount+ for no additional cost to subscribers sometime around the end of February or the beginning of March.

Releasing at the end of last December, the movie put up great numbers at the box office, grossing $424 million at the global box office, while nabbing the No. 1 spot during its debut week. The movie drew in a large audience through a star-studded cast along with a family-friendly story that teaches many strong moral lessons. A portion of Movieguide®’s review reads:
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 opens with a mysterious hedgehog with superpowers named Shadow escaping a military prison where he’s been held for 50 years. Shadow eventually teams up with Dr. Robotnik and Dr. Robotnik’s grandfather, who are both bent on revenge against Earth. They’re after a powerful weapon created by an international military and law enforcement agency protecting Earth from alien threats. Sonic and his friends, Knuckles and Tails, must stop them, but these adversaries are very powerful.
A flashback about Shadow interrupts the story in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3. However, the flashback gives the movie a heartwarming twist. Also, the twist plays a major role in the movie’s spectacular, exciting, uplifting, redemptive ending. Thus, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 has a strong moral, redemptive worldview. It overtly promotes family, adoption, love, sacrifice, making good choices, and doing the right thing. The movie also has a positive reference to God and a beautiful sentiment about light overcoming death. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3 provides plenty of thrills, laughs and heartwarming moments. Caution is advised for some violence and five relatively light expletives.
The success of SONIC three brought the franchise over the $1 billion mark for its total box office gross. Paramount has already announced plans for a fourth movie with a release date sometime in 2027.
