Why MyPillow Founder Mike Lindell Might Run for Office in Minnesota
By Tess Farrand, Associate Content Editor
Conservative businessman Mike Lindell said that he might want to run for office in Minnesota to do things “right.”
“If God has me do it, I will do it,” Lindell said to Newsmax. “I just see things that are so poorly run, and they could be done a lot better. It might come down to, ‘if you want something done right, do it yourself.'”
Lindell hails from Minnesota, and his comments come in the wake of George Floyd’s death.
“It comes down to we’ve had some very poor leadership,” said the MyPillow Founder.
Lindell often donates to charities and uses his profits to fund Christian entertainment.

Lindell donated $1 million to the production of the faith-based pro-life movie UNPLANNED. The MyPillow founder also appeared in one scene in the movie as a bulldozer operator.
Although an election won’t take place for two years, Lindell already has a strong faith-based platform.
“I encourage you to use this time at home to get back into the Word, to read our Bibles, and spend time with our families,” said Lindell.
