Will Anne Hathaway Return For Upcoming PRINCESS DIARIES Project?

A new PRINCESS DIARIES movie is in the works at Disney!
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Aadrita Mukerji is working on a script for another installment in the series. Mukerji has previously written for TV shows like REACHER and SUPERGIRL. The article also clarified that this would be a continuation of the original series, and not a reboot.
Anne Hathaway starred in THE PRINCESS DIARIES and THE PRINCESS DIARIES 2: ROYAL ENGAGEMENT alongside Julie Andrews.
Hathaway has expressed excitement at the idea of another PRINCESS DIARIES movie in the past, but there’s no official word yet on whether she or Andrews will return for the upcoming project.
Both PRINCESS DIARIES movies received very favorable reviews, from audiences and critics alike.
