What You Need To Know:
A MOUTHFUL OF AIR is a depressing, humanist movie that doesn’t offer viewers much hope. The movie deals with issues of abuse, depression and suicide. Sadly, there’s no final resolution or hopeful message. So, people who deal with these issues probably won’t want to watch a movie like this, but neither will general audiences, much less families. Amanda Seyfried gives a heartbreaking performance as the mother. As usual, Paul Giamatti delivers a compelling performance as her doctor. However, A MOUTHFUL OF AIR contains brief foul language, lying and deception.
