What You Need To Know:
CHADWICK BOSEMAN: PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST is short but informative. It reveals Boseman’s acting process through stories from the set and from his private notes. The movie also contains archival footage of Boseman. The documentary is well made, but its short length will leave viewers wanting something more. PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST contains some moral elements about Chadwick Boseman’s work ethic, but there’s no mention of God or faith. MOVIEGUIDE® advises extreme caution because the documentary contains two “f” words and a strong profanity in clips from Boseman’s last movie. CHADWICK BOSEMAN: PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST also contains several racial epithets from his last movie.
