Episodes: Season Overview
More Detail:
In DAREDEVIL: SHADOW IN THE GLASS, Matt is introduced by Foggy and Karen to Ben, the reporter who’s going to help bring down the shady construction company owned by Fisk. Matt, as the masked vigilante, gives Ben the name of Wilson Fisk and tells him it’s time to tell people who’s behind the decay of Hell’s Kitchen. Before they can do so, Fisk beats him to the punch and makes a statement to the media. Fisk’s back-story is revealed. “Shadow in the Glass” is not very action packed. It mostly focuses on the villain, Fisk, as he reflects on his violent history. Fisk’s storyline has become much more intriguing as his character’s motivations are explored, but the plot stays pretty stagnant until the ending. The episode has a light moral worldview as Daredevil devises a plan to thwart Fisk, but Fisk receives some sympathy because of his back-story with an abusive father. There’s also some implied domestic abuse that’s difficult to watch along with some foul language. So, strong caution is advised for DAREDEVIL: SHADOW IN THE GLASS.
