More Detail:
In DAREDEVIL: STICK, Matt is reunited with his old mentor Stick who’s come back to Hell’s Kitchen in preparation for the impending war. In flashbacks, the blind Stick harshly trains Matt as a young boy in martial arts and hand to hand combat. When Matt grew too fond of him as sort of fatherly figure, Stick abruptly leaves, attempting to teach Matt to never grow close to anyone. Back in the present, Matt and Stick go on a mission together, but their differences in values makes it impossible for them to work together. In STICK, Matt’s old mentor belittles Matt for refusing to kill and for going soft. Matt sticks to his guns (or technically, lack thereof) and stands up for his beliefs. The episode is action packed and adds the back-story that shows how Matt came to be such a proficient fighter. This episode has more foul language than any of the others, and almost all of it comes from Stick who’s vulgar and just straight up mean.
