In FIRE COUNTRY Season 3, Episode 1, “What the Bride Said,” Gabriela is at the altar with Diego. Bode shows up to stop the wedding but is held back. Chaos erupts when a helicopter crashes right outside the church. The stained-glass windows blow in just before Gabriela says, “I do.” Surrounded by fire, with multiple injuries from the crash, the team kicks into high gear to save the day. There are some gory injuries and life-threatening, frightening moments, along with some light profanities. MOVIEGUIDE recommends caution for teens.

FIRE COUNTRY Season 3, Episode 1, opens with a lovely church scene and a very eager groom, Diego. However, the bride, Gabriela, spots Bode, the man she truly loves, in the pews and has her doubts. Before she can say “I do,” parts of the helicopter crash through the stained-glass windows, throwing everything into shambles. The wedding attendants fly into a panic. Gabriela, however, seems relieved to run away from the altar toward crisis. She and the team ignite their firefighting life-saving abilities and rush to the accident scene.

There, Gabriela performs a complicated procedure with Bode’s support and encouragement, while Diego only makes her doubt herself. Gabriela finally tells Bode how she feels. He’s hopeful. Not everyone is happy about the possible love match. Gabriela’s father gets special permission to attend the wedding on his way to jail. He pleads with friends in the town to keep his daughter and Bode apart. Meanwhile, Jake’s adopted daughter is stuck in debris with a man from the past claiming to be her biological father. Bode convinces Manny to allow him to join the firefighting team outside of prison by claiming that fighting fires is his new healthy addiction.

The story line unfolds at a great pace with plenty of suspense and action.
