The Fathom Event movie IT’S CHRISTMAS AGAIN is a new, faith-filled musical that centers on the life of a high-schooler who has a life-changing experience on Christmas Eve. IT’S CHRISTMAS AGAIN is a fun, upbeat musical, full of the hope, joy and peace that comes with Jesus Christ’s birth.
Jake is excited to get out of school for winter break and go on a ski trip with his family for Christmas. Jake begs his girlfriend, Abbey, to come with them, but she says that her parents want her to stay home for Christmas because she will leave for college soon, and not be able to spend Christmases as a family.
Although Jake is disappointed, they promise to hangout for New Years. However, Jake’s desires are again disrupted after his younger brother breaks his leg as his family leaves for their ski trip. Jake blames his brother for ruining Christmas and rides his skateboard to go find Abbey. He discovers that she is going to play Mother Mary in a Christmas play at their local church.
On his way home from visiting Abbey, he crashes on his skateboard. When Jake wakes up, he finds himself dressed as a shepherd, in Bethlehem, on the night of Jesus’ birth. Although Jake is disorientated, the people around him treat him like he has always been there. As he and two other shepherds walk into town, they walk straight into Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.
Jake is left breathless as he witnesses Christ with his own eyes. Jake notices that most of the people around him do not take notice of Jesus at all. Either they do not believe he is the messiah, or they are afraid of what the roman soldiers might do if they celebrate.
Jake takes a walk that night to clear his head and is confronted by a Roman soldier who knocks him out. When Jake wakes up, he finds that he is back at his home. However, something is off
about his brother, the town and even Abbey. Although it is Christmas time, there are no lights, no trees, and seasons greetings. Will Jake take the meaning of Christmas to heart and show Christ’s love to those around even when no one else will?

Jake blames his brother and goes to find his girlfriend. However, after a skateboarding accident, Jake wakes up as a shepherd in the town of Bethlehem on the night of Jesus’ birth. As he learns the true meaning of Christmas, his perspective and attitude changes towards the holiday season, his family, and Jesus.
