More Detail:
Episode “Black 22” of JACK RYAN introduces Victor, a military drone pilot in Nevada who frequently executes air strikes on people in the Middle East, something which burdens him with heavy guilt. Meanwhile in France, Jack and Greer work with French authorities to find Suleiman’s brother, who’s on the run after the deadly suicide bombing on police that resulted in many deaths. In Yemen, Suleiman’s wife decides she needs to leave her husband. She runs away with their two daughters, but not before her husband finds out and sends his men after them.
The third episode is extremely intense, with great jeopardy and high stakes for the characters. While the episode is a nail-biter, like previous episodes, there’s a completely unnecessary scene where Victor goes on a gambling spree and ends up fornicating with an older woman while her husband watches. The scene adds nothing to the story and makes an otherwise good episode excessive (the scene is easily skippable). There are positive discussions about morality and doing what’s right, however. Extreme caution is also advised for foul language and violence.
