WAKE THE NATIONS

Ken Tamplin is a famous rock musician, songwriter and producer and friend of MOVIEGUIDE® who was so moved by the tragedy of 911 that he produced this “Wake the Nations” CD. The instant I popped in his CD and turned on the play button, my 17-year-old fell in love with the music. Those that are into Beethoven and Bach may not understand it, but it is a powerful ode to freedom, God’s love, and a condemnation of the bad and the ugly. Some of the titles are hilarious, such as “We’ve Jihad Enough.” Others are traditional, such as “Peace on Earth.” All of them help underline the grace of God in the midst of trials around the U.S.

Furthermore, he has won many awards for his outstanding music.
