What You Need To Know:
Although the stupidity and laziness of Jesse and Chester are usually the butt of this movie’s lame humor, there are plenty of strongly objectionable attitudes and behavior in DUDE, WHERE’S MY CAR? This movie makes light of smoking marijuana, casual sex, homosexuality, a young boy touching a woman’s breast, and nudity. It also makes fun of blind children and the elderly. Regrettably, however, this movie will take a lot of money from teenage pocketbooks, and many of their parents’ pocketbooks, before the theaters dump it for something else

More Detail:
DUDE, WHERE’S MY CAR? is an intentionally stupid teenage comedy about two stoned young men who can’t remember what they did the night before. It tries to remind viewers of another similar movie, BILL AND TED’S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, but it has none of that movie’s cleverness and sense of fun.
Jesse and Chester, the story’s two protagonists, must have done some pretty awful things last night, because their girlfriends call up complaining that their house has been trashed, and Jesse finds out his car is missing. Not only that, but the local blonde bombshell tells Jesse that she and he had a pretty wild time in the back seat of his car. Eventually, these two dunderheads find out that the wild events of last night have something to do with a suitcase full of money, a transsexual stripper and some aliens from outer space looking for a powerful weapon.
