What You Need To Know:
GET OVER IT has many hilarious moments and a great soundtrack to boot. Although the movie deals with such issues as the importance of friendship and having honest relationships, it contains plenty of foul language, alcohol use by minors and some sexual content, including a visit to a strip joint. Thus, the movie is not really suitable for the teenagers which are its primary intended audience

GET OVER IT is a light comedy about the attempts of one high school senior, Berke Landers (Ben Foster), to win back the girl who dumped him. Berke’s friends try to help him get over it when his old flame, Alison, moves on in her life. When Alison starts dating the new guy in town, Striker, a British pop star, Berke decides to try out for the school play along with Alison and Striker to prove himself worthy. Kelly (Kirsten Dunst), the little sister of Berke’s best friend, helps him rehearse, and soon he’s seeing her as something more. Martin Short is hilarious as the over critical theater teacher, whose sole purpose is to convince the students that he was once a theater star.
