More Detail:
In the movie HEXED, a 28-year-old hotel manager named Matthew has a date with an international model named Hexina that turns out to be a nightmare involving sex, murder and blackmail. The story begins with Matthew sidestepping his work duties in order to get a date with Hexina. Meanwhile, Hexina hopes to meet a “mystery man” who has been blackmailing her with old photos that could ruin her career. In an elaborate scheme, Matthew poses as Mr. Pratt and manages to fool Hexina, but she has a few tricks up her sleeve as well. They engage in a bizarre food n’ fornication scene, after which Hexina tries to stab Matthew with a butcher’s knife. The filmmakers attack the Church with a lustful Catholic priest who watches pornographic movies on TV. Further lampooning occurs with families and police.
Ultimately, HEXED blurs the line between fantasy and reality, and makes a big joke out of everything. HEXED is an occasionally funny parody of erotic thrillers (BASIC INSTINCT, 9 1/2 WEEKS & FATAL ATTRACTION) that goes too far. With porno bedroom scenes, corny violence and its mockery of religion and family values, the movie stretches beyond the limits of good taste and decency.
