Indulging in out-of-control biological drives, THE OPPOSITE SEX (AND HOW TO LIVE WITH THEM) depicts a young couple, David and Carrie, whose coupling begins at a bar, as David and his best friend, Eli, drool over Carrie’s hourglass figure. Somehow, Dave manages to score with her when a goodnight kiss turns into an all-night session, and culminates in cohabitation. At the beach, they compete in the perfect genitalia sandcastle contest and play striptease Twister and other oddities. However, David fantasizes about being approached by a busload of cheerleaders begging him to take away their virginity. Ultimately, they commit to one another. However, first, Carrie asks her closest girlfriend, Zoey, to marry her, and David says homosexual fellatio with Eli would be justified in order to meet physical and nutritional needs while stranded on a desert island.
Obviously, THE OPPOSITE SEX (AND HOW TO LIVE WITH THEM) presents a distorted perspective on sex. It drools over appearances without considering what is inside. From a cinematic standpoint, the movie also fails because of its contrived and pretentious acting performances.
