WAYNE’S WORLD 2

Excellent…Not!! Not too much has changed with Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar over the last year. They still host their show in WAYNE’S WORLD 2; but, they have moved out to an abandoned doll factory in Aurora, Illinois. The film begins when Wayne has a “vision.” This ridiculous vision depicts a “half-naked Indian” leading Wayne to a desert where the deceased Jim Morrison is waiting to tell Wayne what he has to do in order to “accomplish something.” Jim explains that he must put on a rock concert in Aurora. As Wayne and Garth decide on the details of the concert, they name it Waynestock! The name, plot and un-witty story continue to the end. Although the viewer never actually sees either Wayne or Garth put forth much effort, the concert ultimately succeeds in bringing together a host of mindless leftovers from Woodstock.

The first WAYNE’S WORLD was full of sexual innuendoes and WAYNE’S WORLD 2 follows, while passing the innuendo mark. Garth experiences a relationship with a beautiful “Babe” named Honey Hornee (Kim Basinger), who is obsessed with the nerdy-teen. If one wants to see a film in which absolutely no brain power is needed to experience more than one film’s fair share of foul language, sexual innuendoes, distressing morals, and a small handful of ridiculous humor, this may be the film. Just don’t forget to leave your brain at home; Wayne and Garth did.
