Set in Seattle, SECRET MILLIONAIRE is a romantic comedy on UPtv about the son of a wealthy man who befriends a young woman protesting his family’s real estate company, but she doesn’t know who his father is. The movie opens as Sean Peyton is about to start working at his father, William’s, real estate company. The company has plans to destroy a beloved old park and to build a new shopping complex on the grounds. Sean doesn’t want to work for his father, because he’s not passionate about the real estate business. However, his father insists he works for him and gives Sean the ultimatum of finding another job or working for him at the company.
Sean meets a girl named Allison outside his country club, and she suggests that he work with her on her food truck. Sean begins working and realizes he’s passionate about cooking. Allison reveals to Sean that she’s working on a petition to stop the family company from destroying a park. Sean doesn’t tell Allison he’s William Peyton’s son and decides to help her gather signatures for the petition.
Over the weeks, Sean and Allison grow close, and he asks her out on a date. They begin to fall for each other, even though Sean still hasn’t revealed his true identity. Sean pleads with his father to save the park and shut down his plans for building on the land. However, his father denies Sean’s request and becomes upset when he finds out that Sean’s new job is on a food truck.
Sean takes matters into his own hands to save the park, but trouble arises when Allison finds out his identity. Will Sean be able to save the park and mend his relationship with Allison? Or, will he follow in the Peyton footsteps and work for his father?
